Finalist at Hessischer Gründerpreis

The Hessischer Gründerpreis exists since 2003. Young companies, which are on the market less than 5 years are able to compete in the contest. The founders of the startup company also must be independent from state funds to finance their lifelihood.

The award is divided in 4 categories: Innovative business concept, social impact, sustainable succession and foundation from university. The last category was invented in 2018 and Tec4med now made it to the finals in 2019.

After the jury had selected the young startup company from Darmstadt into the semi-finals, the managing director Nico Höler presented the NelumBox and Tec4med in a thrilling pitch.

The pitch convinced the committee and Tec4med was appointed to the finals in the category foundation from university. This makes the company one of the 3 winners in its category and it will be able to compete against MagonTherm Solutions and novapace in the grand final on November 1, 2019 in Wetzlar.
