Behind the scenes of one successful story: How the Autodesk 360 Fusion has become one of the key ingredients in the development of NelumBox.
It is important to note that Tec4med is a classic garage start-up.
And here comes the short version of the story behind it.
During his student job as an On-Board-Courier, Martin found a bizarre fact when transporting blood samples. They were tempered and transported in passive (disposable!) cool boxes only by cooling batteries. This produces thousands of tons of waste every year. A fact that seems inconvincible today.
Completely without CAD (computer-aided design), Martin began the first construction of the NelumBox after his return from an order at the 2014 World Cup.
However, it quickly became clear that the design and, above all, customer presentation of the NelumBox without a suitable program would be difficult. So Martin discovered Autodesk 360 Fusion.
The platform offers an all-in-one solution. 3D design, simulation, generative design and documentation are all included in the scope of the program. Documenting projects is also more flexible regarding of place and time.
The NelumBox as it exists today has been extensively designed with Autodesk and will continue to be part of the Tec4 team on the program.
