NewsThe Darmstadt-based startup Tec4med produces containers that can keep medicines and vaccine serums constantly cooled for even several days – including Biontech’s Covid-19 vaccine.
Not only do the tested and certified transport solutions of the still-young company ensure that the vaccine – unlike in the case of the incident in Bavaria – is protected from becoming unusable and is delivered safely to the patient. But the team around CEO Nico Höler thinks further: user-friendly monitoring via cloud and app enables the recording of temperature data and GPS, among other things.
Tec4med has already received inquiries from all over the world for its intelligent solutions, but the company is particularly proud to support the local distribution of vaccines at this time.
